All donations will go to AS ONE MINISTRIES, a local agency that works with homeless people. Last year, Gaston County Schools had 490 homeless students and this school year, there are 200 homeless students as of today. Please help make Forestviews FILL-A-TENT project a success to benefit our homeless people in Gaston County.

All donations will go to AS ONE MINISTRIES, a local agency that works with homeless people. Last year, Gaston County Schools had 490 homeless students and this school year, there are 200 homeless students as of today. Please help make Forestviews FILL-A-TENT project a success to benefit our homeless people in Gaston County.

-NC State is hosting their 3rd annual Triangle Youth Leadership Conference on November 12th from 10am-8pm. The conference includes a day of speakers, workshops and activities that will teach students the skills they need to create positive community change.

-NC State is hosting their 3rd annual Triangle Youth Leadership Conference on November 12th from 10am-8pm. The conference includes a day of speakers, workshops and activities that will teach students the skills they need to create positive community change.
The application deadline is Wednesday October 5th. If you are interested, please go to www.triangleleadership.org to apply. See Ms. Walters with any questions.

- Attention swim team-there will be a sign up today (Tuesday) at 3:00 in C-106 Coach Strothmans room. Also will be looking at swimsuits.
-Scholarship Opportunity- Seniors interested in applying for the Belk Scholarship to Davidson should declare their intent with Mr. Collins by Thursday, October 13. Interested applicants should have an outstanding academic record, coupled leadership and service.
-Anyone interested in playing sports in the Winter season needs to start thinking about getting a physical or renewing a physical. Participants MUST have a current physical on file with the athletic director in order to practice or try out. Swimming, Basketball and Wresting starts in November. Please be prepared.
