Place your order now for this holiday CD and prepay or pay on delivery. The entire purchase price supports two worthy causes: The Salvation Army Empty Stocking Fun and The FHS Marching Band Appearance at Disney World in 2011. Price is $5 each. -Any GIRLS HELPING GIRLS member interested in helping with the Christmas party at Southwest, meet immediately after school TODAY, December 16 in Mrs. K. Smith's room (B122). Don't forget to bring a snack!

-All are invited to the Forestview High School Band Christmas Concert TONIGHT, December 16, at 6:30 in the Forestview High School auditorium. Admission is free! Our program features a variety of Christmas music including "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", "Santas Got a Brand New Bag" and Adeste Fideles. We will also have a very brief PTO meeting. Come and Enjoy!

Winter Color guard tryouts will CONTINUE TODAY from 3:00- 5:00.

-TODAY, Dec. 16th, the winter sports teams will take their team and individual pictures for the yearbook. The basketball team members should have a note for their teachers about being dismissed early. JV players will be dismissed @ 2:15 and Varsity players will be dismissed @ 2:35. The JV players can return to class after pictures. The student-athletes are responsible for missing work. Thank you. Swimming and Wrestling pictures will be taken @ 3:30.

-Any GIRLS HELPING GIRLS member interested in helping with the Christmas party at Southwest, meet immediately after school Thursday, December 16 in Mrs. K. Smith's room (B122). Don't forget to bring a snack!

-All are invited to the Forestview High School Band Christmas Concert Thursday, December 16, at 6:30 in the Forestview High School auditorium. Admission is free! Our program features a variety of Christmas music including "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", "Santas Got a Brand New Bag" and Adeste Fideles. We will also have a very brief PTO meeting. Come and Enjoy!

-Tumbalacious Tumblers are now available but there is a limited supply. Forestview's Apparel 2 Class will be taking orders from December 14 to December 16 during all four lunches. Tumblers will be delivered before Christmas break!

-All members of the INVISIBLE CHILDREN'S CLUB need to stop by Mrs. Henry's room TODAY, December 15, for a few minutes after school. This will not be a club meeting, but it is necessary that all members quickly stop by to order t-shirts, pick up forms, and get caught up with the fundraiser.

-On Thursday, December 16, PSAT results will be distributed during our Advisory period. (This affects mostly 10th and 11th graders) We ask that Advisory teachers hand out this information as quickly as possible and dismiss those students to the auditorium for a brief meeting. Second period teachers should expect these students to miss only the first few minutes of class.

-Winter Color guard tryouts will CONTINUE TODAY and Thursday from 3:00- 5:00.

-On Thursday, Dec. 16th, the winter sports teams will take their team and individual pictures for the yearbook. The basketball team members should have a note for their teachers about being dismissed early. JV players will be dismissed @ 2:15 and Varsity players will be dismissed @ 2:35. The JV players can return to class after pictures. The student-athletes are responsible for missing work. Thank you. Swimming and Wrestling pictures will be taken @ 3:30.

-NEWSPAPER STUDENTS: Make sure to sell your 2 ads by the beginning of next semester and new members make sure to complete your packets by the beginning of next semester. If you have any questions, see John Swartz, Marlee Devine or Mrs. Gerow.

-A representative from the University of Alabama will be visiting our campus TODAY, December 15. Seniors interested in speaking with the Alabama Rep should sign up with Mr. Collins.

-All 18 year old men must register with the Selective Service to qualify for federal student aid for college, job training benefits and many state and federal jobs. -All members of the INVISIBLE CHILDREN'S CLUB need to stop by Mrs. Henry's room on Wednesday, December 15, for a few minutes after school. This will not be a club meeting, but it is necessary that all members quickly stop by to order t-shirts, pick up forms, and get caught up with the fundraiser.

-On Thursday, December 16, PSAT results will be distributed during our Advisory period. (This affects mostly 10th and 11th graders) We ask that Advisory teachers hand out this information as quickly as possible and dismiss those students to the auditorium for a brief meeting. Second period teachers should expect these students to miss only the first few minutes of class.

-Winter Color guard tryouts will begin tomorrow rather than today. Please plan to stay tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00- 5:00.

-STUDENT COUNCIL will meet Tuesday, December 14 at 7:30 am in Mr. Lynn’s room (B128).

-On Thursday, Dec. 16th, the winter sports teams will take their team and individual pictures for the yearbook. The basketball team members should have a note for their teachers about being dismissed early. JV players will be dismissed @ 2:15 and Varsity players will be dismissed @ 2:35. The JV players can return to class after pictures. The student-athletes are responsible for missing work. Thank you. Swimming and Wrestling pictures will be taken @ 3:30.

-It's that time of year again! It's time for the SPRING MUSICAL, a Forestview tradition! This years Musical is "Once Upon a Mattress," the story of the princess and the pea. Please join us for an informational meeting, Wednesday, December 8th after school in Mrs. Alexander's room (D137). In this meeting we'll talk about auditions and watch clips from the movie to get better acquainted to the story. Everyone who is interested in teching or being in the show is invited to attend!

-Attention SENIORS: Any senior who has not ordered your CAP AND GOWN or ANNOUNCEMENTS may place your order with Jostens on Friday, December 10 during lunches.

-HOSA meeting TODAY, December 6 in Mrs. Hall's room (D105)

-Students, please make sure that you are following the dress code policy. Guys...pants must be secured at your waist. Ladies...leggings or tights must have appropriate attire that meet the dollar bill rule over top of them. Also, hoods and hats of any kind are not permitted inside of the building. Please be aware that the dress code is STRICTLY BEING ENFORCED!

-The GERMAN CLUB will meet Tuesday, December 7 after school in D130. We will make gingerbread houses.

-Students, don't forget that PEER TUTORING is offered every TUESDAY and THURSDAY from 3:00-4:00 in room B106.
