This note will determine if your absence is excused or unexcused. Finally, remember prom and athletics uses attendance as one of the variables to determine eligibility.

Last year we had students who volunteered at the "conservation Celebration" at Redlair Farm and Forest and we have been asked to help again. The celebration includes live music, kids activities, guided and independent nature walks, and story telling. All of these activities require volunteers so we need your help.

-Students please be mindful of the Gaston County School Attendance Policy. A student can miss no more than 10 days within a semester without violating the attendance policy. Also, if you are absent please bring a note within 2 days of returning to school. This can be from a doctor, parents, or other agency that states the reason for you not being in attendance at school. This note will determine if your absence is excused or unexcused. Finally, remember prom and athletics uses attendance as one of the variables to determine eligibility.
