***This week is College Application Week. During this week, select colleges and universities will waive their application fee for students applying through CFNC.org. The goal of this week is to help students apply to college. However, the focus is placed on first generation college students and students that may need help with the application process. To aid students with the application process, we will be offering help sessions (Nov. 16) and Thurs. (Nov. 18) from 3-4pm in the library. Late bus transportation will be available for those that need it. In addition to college applications, we will also help with the NCAA Clearinghouse application (Collegebound Athletes) and answer any questions about financial aid.
***The deadline to return college application and test score verification was November 15. If you are an EARLY GRADUATE, this information must be given to your counselor immediately. The goal of this week is to help students apply to college. However, the focus is placed on first generation college students and students that may need help with the application process. To aid students with the application process, we will be offering help sessions (Nov. 16) and Thurs. (Nov. 18) from 3-4pm in the library. Late bus transportation will be available for those that need it. In addition to college applications, we will also help with the NCAA Clearinghouse application (Collegebound Athletes) and answer any questions about financial aid.
***The deadline to return college application and test score verification was November 15. If you are an EARLY GRADUATE, this information must be given to your counselor immediately. Confirmation of college acceptance is due by December 1. Failure to submit the necessary documentation will result in the revocation of your early graduation request.

-This week is College Application Week. During this week, select colleges and universities will waive their application fee for students applying through CFNC.org. The goal of this week is to help students apply to college. However, the focus is placed on first generation college students and students that may need help with the application process. To aid students with the application process, we will be offering help sessions tomorrow (Nov. 16) and Thurs. (Nov. 18) from 3-4pm in the library. Late bus transportation will be available for those that need it. In addition to college applications, we will also help with the NCAA Clearinghouse application (Collegebound Athletes) and answer any questions about financial aid.
-If you are interested in being a PEER HELPER for 2nd semester you can pick up an application from Mrs. Smith in the front office. Applications need to be turned in to Mrs. Butch by Tuesday, November 23.

It is the best finish in Forestview Men's Cross Country history and a finish that will last through the ages. The accomplishments of this men's cross country team will be immortalized in epic poems that future generations will study as diligently as we study Beowulf, Odysseus and Homer Simpson. Small children will sing songs and reenact what this team has done. Forestview's finest included JACOB ENGLERT, BRADLEY ALLF, JAMES EAST, VINCENT COMA-SANA, CHANDLER CALDWELL, DYLAN VAN BEEK, and SAM STOUT. Jacob was named an All-State runner. -Gaston County School District will be offering a series of SAT prep sessions from 8 am until noon on Saturdays prior to the SAT exam dates. If you are interested in attending these prep sessions, see Mr. Bennett in guidance in order to sign up. November 20 at Ashbrook. January 15 at Cherryville. March 5 at Forestview. April 16 at South Point. May 21 at East Gaston.

C-CATS introduces students to Clemson University through exciting weekend adventures that engage them in the academic, social and recreational best Clemson has to offer. This program is limited to students in the top 10% of their class ranking. Mr. Bennett, in guidance, will submit Forestview nominations on December 1. See him if you're interested in being nominated.
