SPORTS THIS WEEK!
-NO SCHOOL MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
-Harris Teeter's "The Together in Education program" re-launched on August 1 for the 2008-2009 school year. Parents, teachers, alumni and supporters must RE-LINK their Harris Teeter VIC card to Forestview. Link online at www.harristeeter.com or at the register during checkout. But don't forget to Re-Link! Forestview's code is 1272.
-You can do your part in helping the Forestview PTA raise easy cash and all you have to do is obtain a Target credit card. If you use your Target credit card Target will donate 1% of every purchase you make at Target and ½% of every purchase you make at another store. It's that easy.
If you already have a Target credit card and have not signed up with Forestview High School all you have to do is sign up online at Target.com and look for Take Charge of Education.
-Jostens will be here on Monday and Tuesday, September 8 & 9 during lunches to take orders from Seniors for Cap and Gowns, graduation announcements etc.
-Tindol Ford along with the Ford Motor Company have graciously agreed to sponsor our school in a Cruise For Your School fundraiser. This unique opportunity will allow us to raise up to $6000 for our school. Ford will donate $20 to our school for each test drive up to $6000. Cruise 4 Ur School will start at 10 am until 7 pm at the athletic field entrance on Friday September 5, the day of the Forestview-Clover football game. Each drive must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, which means Seniors who are 18 may participate.
-There will be an exciting HOSA CLUB meeting next Thursday, September 4, immediately after school in Mrs. Hall's room (D105). Everyone is welcome. There will be a guest speaker from Charlotte Hospice and refreshments!
-Any SENIOR BOY who is interested in the SENIOR BOYS DANCE should come by Mrs. Kristie Smith's room (D139) to sign up.

-All young ladies interested in competing in the MISS FORESTVIEW 2009 PAGEANT are to meet in the library TODAY immediately after school. Applications are available in the library or outside Mrs. Lewis' room (B122).
